Our Ethical Sourcing Supplier Management

We’re proud to be accredited under ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 27001 as well as be a Carbon Neutral Britain certified business. We’re also proud to be an accredited member of the British Promotional Merchandise Association (BPMA), which represents excellence, standards, and confidence for any buyer and also means we’re a reputable organisation.

Due to our membership with the BPMA, we guarantee that all our products and services are sourced and produced responsibly and ethically, with minimal impact on the environment from our fully audited and closely managed supplier roster. As well as this, our operations team are on hand at every production stage to quality check each and every marketing and fundraising collateral to ensure it not only adheres to our clients requirements, but also the high-quality standards that we comply with.

Paper

The vast majority of the paper we use is now sourced from sustainable (and farmed) forestry, and is either certified under FSC, PEFC, EMAS, or PAS2020. We also can utilise recycled paper if a client requests us to do so for their campaign.

Printing Inks

Almost all of our printing processes now only use vegetable (or soy) based inks, which are produced from farmed stocks and have a positive carbon impact. Historically, inks were often petroleum based, however a combination of the Clean Air Act (which regulates volatile organic content (VOC) emissions) and market forces have all but eliminated petroleum-based inks.

Delivery, Transport and Packaging

We make every effort to minimise our footprint arising from transport and delivery. For example, we’ll take a major consideration in selecting a production facility that is in close proximity to the delivery point and we’ll aim to plan our deliveries as an element of a composite load. We’ll also use electric vehicles for our deliveries, especially for smaller loads. In terms of packaging, we’ll advise our clients’ on the most environmentally sustainable packaging solution for their campaign.

Proofing

Unless specifically required, we’ll always proof campaigns electronically via PDF documents, online soft proofing, and hi-resolution ICS proofing. This eliminates the need for paper, production, and transport which has been historically involved in the proofing process.

Client Staff Training

We regularly run print and direct marketing workshops for our clients, where we discuss best practice in relation to production to help minimise environmental impact. These workshops have proven extremely effective and have helped numerous clients to refine and evolve their marketing and fundraising collateral and uplift their ROI.
